<p>I personally like the new template over the old template. </p><p>1) The new template adds the tabs which help for those who have computers that aren't so good. In the long run, there will eventually be a lot of information added to the main pages. This will cause people to wait a while for everything to load, including pictures and text. Also, with the tabs, it'll create a more practical way to find what we want. </p><p>2) Like healnarutoule said, I think this new template shouldn't be used for all characters though. There are many many characters that don't have that much information to require the separate tabs. I think we should only have tabs for those that have important roles in the manga/anime. This will include most of the members in Karasuno, Kuroo, Oikawa, Kenma, etc. This will exclude people that aren't as important such as Tanaka's sister. </p>

<p>In my opinion, the new template is more convenient than the old one. </p><p>For characters with a lot of information, it gives quick and easy access to specific topics about the character. People who want an overview or are looking for details about a character can easily find what they are looking for with the new template. </p>

<p>I personally like the new template too, visually, though I think the old template might be easier for users that are just trying to find some quick information (ctrl+F on the page doesn't work if the info is on different tabs right?) </p><p>Like Healnarutoule and Yujian said, the new template isn't very useful for character pages that will contain less information and I personally like it better if ALL character pages are in the same template. I think it'd be annoying for users to look at the old template for some pages and then come to the new template on others, because the information has suddenly "disappeared" (behind tabs). </p><p>So even though I like the new template and agree with everything that's been said about it, I don't think we should be using 2 different templates for different character pages. </p><p>I don't know if this is the right place to say this, but what bothers me most - though it might just be my pet peeve - is that the format of the names is NOT the same everywhere (ie. fistname lastname vs lastname firstname). This is especially confusing on team pages where the 2 formats are both used in 1 list of characters. I've seen a lot of other fanfiction writers being confused over what exactly is the characters surname or firstname, saying they thought it was the other way around because of the wiki. It would be nice to see this altered so at least lists of people have the same format. </p><p>The overview is really nice for people just looking for quick facts though, so I like that. I've made myself a database by adding to one someone else made before in an excel file for all the details (name in kanji, height, weight, parameters etc) for all characters as far as it's known (from character profiles etc). </p><p>Is it maybe possible to put that as a seperate page for people wanting to look up this info really quickly without having to switch between character pages? <p>The new template had put a decent difference to the old one. Of course I'll vote for the recent one.  </p><p>I remembered when the old template was created *sniff*. Haha! Anyway, I'm gonna make this short. I support the New Template. It's more organized, plus it looks <i>new</i>.  </p>

<p>I prefer new template more than the old one. It is more organized and makes it more orderliness. </p><p>But then again I think it would be the best if for those characters where isn't a lot written or known about would be left in old template. </p>

<p>Personally, I'd choose the new template. It's more efficient and easy to navigate through. Although, minor characters that don't have loads of information should use the old template. With the new template, pages don't tend to look bulging with information and tiring to read all the way through. </p>

<p>I have to admit I prefer the new template, however I don't think it's perfect (of course no one is expecting perfect). While I do vote for the new template because it looks professional, keeps things organised, and it's simply more aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but I think it will leave a <i>lot</i> of empty space for the minor characters. </p><p>I also don't now how I feel about the overview. When someone clicks on the character, what are they looking for? Name, yeah; picture, yeah; appearance, personality, yeah-yeah; and then Stats and Trivia, sure... But I feel like the meat is really missing? It feels like a lot of people will be clicking a character just to click the tab. </p><p>I feel as though History and Plot should be part of the main page? That's almost the most important part. I mean, the purpose of a wiki should be summarising and validating what happens (the plot), providing information. Also, without History/Plot, a lot of minor characters will, for the most part, have nothing. Kageyama (arguably the deuteragonist, although he is a <i>quite</i> close second to Hinata) has a good 5 paragraphs in personality, but I don't think we could say the same for every character. Relationships, Quotes, and Image Gallery should be off the main page (almost all wikis that have relationships on the main page tend to only keep the 1-3 most important ones and never expand in enough detail), but History/Plot tells who the character is. That's probably the <i>main</i> reason people are looking up the characters. </p><p>On another note, while I think the idea of main characters having the new layout and minor characters having the old layout makes sense... I don't necessarily think that's the best idea. We would lose consistency, which is kind of the "glue" that makes the wiki look uniform. And we would then have to discuss when does a minor character have enough information to get a new template, and then would someone have to make a decision every time a character gets enough spotlight or their wiki page gets too full? </p><p>I guess I'm kind of a more in-between answer than a clear cut one or the other, but if I had to choose one it would be the new template. I got really wordy, sorry about that! </p>
