..Yamaguchi sighed, he knew, from that awkward and flustered voice that that was obviously a lie.
Okay then, yoichi-kun, but Shiho definitely likes you!

Hshehhs well Im gonna go search some volleyball facts now, hopefully it willl be of help! Yoichi stuttered, immediately turning off hiss thoughts.
Damn anxious boy, stuttering even in his thoughts Yamaguchi sighed, eventhough he was the same. (we all r dw)
"Soo guyss," Yamaguchi awkwardly began, "Update me, what happened?"
"You amazingly killed two nobles, and broke ten bones" Shiho pretended to tick off the list from his fingers.
"Oh-"
"Yoichi-kun, you really need to rest, we'll be going now, it's Mika's lunch now" Yuu waved at Yamaguchi, "Rest well" before leading a sulky vampire out of the door.
"I also need to go, Kimizuki and I need to give a detailed report to Guren with Shinya-san" Shinoa mentioned, "Rest well" before walking off as well with Shiho, who took one last look at Yamaguchi before leaving with the girl.
Soon, only Mitsuba was left with Yamaguchi.
She walked closer to his bed and sat down akwardly, "Uhm can I talk to you, Yoichi?"
"Uhm sure!" Yamaguchi was worried that some crazy topic about vampires was about to come up.
Mitsuba smiled softly, "So uh you know how Shi has a small crush on Yuu?"
Yamaguchi kept down his thoughts of 'HOLY SH** THIS SH** GOT REAL' and nodded nonchantly.
"I just"
Mitsu turned away her head and bit her lip, tugging at the hem of a dress.
"I just really like her"
Yamaguchi widened his eyes in spite of himself.
"Don't be so shocked Yoichi!" Mitsu protested, her face redening deeply.
"I liked her way before Yuu came in the picture, but she just" Mitsu took a deep breath, voice quavering, "I loved her way before he came! Her biggest desire was him, not me, but mine was her"
Yamaguchi could not help himself but feel bad for the girl, "Don't worry, let me help, trust me"
Mistu sniffed and rubbed her eyes, "Okay, thank you, please talk to her. But meanwhile, can I rant to you a bit?"
"Of course"
Before they knew it, both were bawling together, ranting about each others crushes. Just that Yamaguchi was ranting about Tsukkishima, but as Shiho's name. (yes tsukkiyama <3 no ship wars tho ty)
Several days passed, but Yamaguchi's bones still were not healed, but he had made great friends, no best friends with Mitsu. And then, while he was resting in bed, Shinoa walked in.
"Oh hey Shinoa!" He greeted the girl brightly.
"Hey yoichi! I have some good news, you've been promotted! Thanks to your brilliant behaviour at the last battle against the vampires!" Shinoa congratulated the boy happily, "And I have a favour to ask for"
"of course Shinoa! We're all family!"
"Okay, so about Mi-chan. What is your relationship with her?"
"Huh- we're best friends of course! What, jealous?"
"Haha, Yoichi how funny." Shinoa laughed sarcastically. She was acting more and more like Shinobu.
"But..I really like her but I don't think she likes me.."Shinoa began, her voice dropping to a tone which Yamaguchi had never heard before.
"She also likes you, you know!" Yamaguchi smiled, gesturing for Shinoa to sit down with him.
"Oh, thank you yoichi"
"You're welcome"
Suddenly, Mika barged in.
"Mika?.."
"Yoichi I need your help"
