Happy birthday to the second-year, wing spiker of Niiyama Girls' Volleyball Team

Happy birthday to the 2nd year, wing spiker of Niiyama Girls.

Remember all those polls I did about who is everyone's favorite Haikyuu!! girl? Well, it's time for the results! The vote numbers in parantheses after the character's name first show how many votes they got in the first round, and then how many they got in the second (final) round. The place numbers are based on the percentages in the final round. If a character didn't make it to the final round, there will only be one number in the parantheses. The graphs for these percentages can be found at the end of the post. Here's the final top three:

1st place: Saeko Tanaka (12, 12)

2nd place: Alisa Haiba (13, 9)

3rd place: Kiyoko Shimizu (7, 6)

And here's everyone else:

4th place: Natsu Hinata (13, 5) & Hitoka Yachi (10, 5)

Regardless of these results, all the girls (and boys!) in Haikyuu!! are awesome and we love them all. These polls were just to find out the most popular, not the "best" character, since that's all subjective and everyone has a different idea of who's a better character. ^_^

Kanoka Amanai was played by Ai Hashizume in the Haikyuu!! Stage Play, and I really wish I could watch the play so I could see her!!! Check out her character posters (all found on the Engeki Haikyuu Tumblr page):

All I'm going to say is that I love my girl Kanoka in all forms (manga, anime, stage play, fanart, etc.) and she's awesome!!!!

I just got to the first scene with him(i spoiled s4 for myself a lot lol) but like

His voice is perfect too

But that scene where the girl Kanoka(ithink) got her heart broken by Tanaka, that broke MY heart, like wth tanaka?!

Inarizaki has a whole BAND wth?! not undeserved, but dang, thats cool

So I was scrolling through the YouTube search results for "kanoka amanai" because I love that girl too much and I came across an edit (it wasn't a very good one, but an edit nonetheless) shipping Kanoka with Sakusa. I looked it up and there's even a couple pieces of fanart... I mean, the fanarts are pretty cute, and there was a teeny little cute moment between them in the stage play, but this is yet another case of Haikyuu!! fans shipping literally any two characters that exist in the same universe and I find it both confusing and absolutely hilarious. I laughed my head off when I first heard of this ship because it makes no sense to me.

SINCE TANAKA DIDN’T WANT YOU PLEASE TAKE MY HAND IN MARRIAGE INSTEAD KANOKA MY LOVE 😭
