Tsukki and Kino remind me so so much of myself, i used to put up walls around myself and shy away bcuz of my own insecurities an lack of self esteem, but slowly (and withe the help of my awesome friends) ive rediscovered my passions and learned to live more freely and become much more outgoing. I jus relate a lot to both their journeys
Shibayama, well as yall can tell, i love the shy ones. But hes another character that reminds me quite a lot about myself.
Kuguri bcuz i may come off as rude, uninterested, an standoffish when really i dont know how to express myself at times, but deep down i care, a little too much at times
Ofc its very difficult to choose a favorite character when theyre all so lovable and relatable. if i went into detail i could probably write at least a paragraph about almost every single hq character an why i love em

Some days ago i was reading the manga from the beginning again when I noticed the emphasis on the word "connect" in quite literally the first panel. I think it's so significant bcuz if you really look deeply into it, a major theme in Haikyuu is connection.
Not only do the plays have to connect on the court in order to win the game, but players also have to connect on an emotional level. Throughout the series they form bonds and friendships that they might've not if not for volleyball. Volleyball being a sport where connection (and communication!) is vital to a team's success.
If you've read the manga or watched the anime im sure you've noticed what im talking about. Its especially noticable in Karasuno (duh callisto, the series literally revolves mostly about them).
But like one big example is Kageyama. I love him dearly but i also see his faults, my boy did not know how to connect. Look back at his time in middle school. There was no connection between him and the rest of the team.
And he would've carried on with that attitude, he would've continued to be the self centered king of the court into high school if he hadn't crossed paths with Hinata. I think we all know what happened from there.
Kageyama and Hinata were forced to cooperate, they didn't want to at first (well it was mostly Kageyama who avoided it) but they eventually realized there was no other way to achieve their goal. Suddenly a genuine bond begins to form between them. A connection. That is why their freak quick works, not jus because of either of their skills but also because there is a bond there. They have connected to a level where they trust each other enough to make the attack work.

Heyo- it's been a while since I've been on here. I've been busy with some stuff so I haven't had the time or motivation to check this place. But! I have been working on some of my fanfics that I've been procrastinating on for months. I know a lot of y'all are excited for the managers chat fic, but I've kinda stalled on that one because I have no idea what to do with it. Idk, if y'all have any ideas for stuff that they could do or talk about (whether it be funny, serious, dumb, lighthearted, pure chaotic energy, or anything of the sort) I would appreciate it if you could suggest something.
While I try to get some kind of grip on that fic, I began to work on another chat fic. I know, procrastination and inability to write at it's finest. I'm already 5 chapters in somehow?? I don't know how that happened, but it's basically your regular Haikyuu chat fic. Lot's of chaos and simping. I'll paste the summary in a bit because I forgot to copy it before writing this lol. But yeah, I'm going to start posting that on Ao3 soon and then I'll share it here.

In which Akaashi decides to add a group of pining idiots into a group chat. Naturally, and not surprisingly, chaos ensues.
Simping, chaos, stupidity, dumb jokes, romance, weird usernames, [redacted] teenagers, love confessions, purposely ooc Haikyuu characters, mild (like it ain't much) angst, [redacted] teenagers,—wait, I already said that— Iwaizumi Hajime slander, a variety in ships, crackhead-ness (that's not a real word, but eh), this fic has it all!
So strap in for the ride! I have absolutely no f-ing idea what I'm doing with this, I make everything up on the spot.

I'm also making a little video with our favorite twins, the Miyas obviously, that'll hopefully be done in the next week.
Also it seems like I missed Kuroo's birthday?? I'm too lazy to scroll through everything I missed right now, but looks like I did. I was working on drawings for Yamaguchi, Futakuchi, and Semi's birthdays, but I haven't finished them yet. I guess I'll do a Kuroo drawing too. Even if they're a little late.
Okay, back to work for me. Lol I have too many things to do.

Goodness, I think we've had this exact same discussion before lol. I also think that Daishou would be the first to get out (as much as I love him), but I think that Atsumu and Oikawa would be somewhere in the middle 2nd or 3rd for either one. They have a somewhat similar(ish) personality and that could either make them clash or become good friends. (I would totally pay to see a roast battle between them-)
You made some good points, but I just think that Tsukki would be the last to leave because, man, I don't think it'd be easy to make him cry. Sure, someone could hit him with the "Hinata will steal the spotlight from you," (or something like that, remember that first time with Kuroo at the training camp?) but eh. I don't think he would let the insults get to him or if they did hurt he'd probably bottle it up and not show any sort of pain over it. Tsukishima probably contribute as little as possible to the conversation and just watch as the others go at it.
I dunno, that's just my opinion. I made a whole, long explanation about my thought process behind this like 1, 2, idk months ago, but it's honestly pretty incomplete and I could have added more to it.

Hmm, personally I think Wrecked (Imagine Dragons) might fit Kageyama better. My Ordinary Life gives me more Tendou vibes. And I don't think I've heard any of the other songs so idk.
