Okay so I originally applied this to Soukoku, and I'm not awake enough to change the names. It'll change to Hinata and Kageyama eventually, but I can't rewrite the first part right now. I came here because I'm like, 'this so applies to them in that AU, which is an AU I've been thinking about a lot, and gets explained when I talk about Soukoku, aside from the fact that Kags probably wouldn't drink, but imagination ig. Also, if you don't know anything about Bungo Stray Dogs, a good half of the fandom is convinced these two characters used to date after Dazai dragged Chuuya in the Port Mafia, until he quit and joined the 'good guys' when everybody knew he didn't give two sh!ts about good or evil, breaking Chuuya's trust. These same people consider it a given that they never properly broke up. Oh, and both of them have hurt each other a lot and act extremely immature around one another. Screaming and fighting over stupid sh!t when they see each other around. The reason Hinata/Chuuya won't be having any of that today is that he's scared Dazai/Kageyama will do something crazy and get the both of them arrested.
Chuuya shows up at Dazai's room one evening, banging not loudly, but in an annoying rhythm, on the window. Dazai opens up, and he's like 'Wtf are you doing here?' because what the heck, why would he be here. He's like, "Remember what we used to do?"
"Huh?"
"Two Thursdays a month..."
"Huh..?"
"You don't remember?"
"No? Should I?"
"...Every time the first and third Thursday rolled around in a month, I'd grab a bottle of wine and you, a bottle of beer. We'd go to the local nightclub, and sneak in. And then..."
"What?! Get to the point. You shouldn't even be here."
"Drunk karaoke. We would do drunk karaoke. This is the third Thursday of June. Since February, I've been considering coming to get you. Not once, not a single time could I get up the nerve to just do it. But here I am, right? So let's go."
"Huh?! No."
"Yes"
"What?!"
Drags him out the window, and they do extremely well trained and talented drunk karaoke until 4 am, at which point a wasted Kageyama carries a blacked-out Hinata to his house, literally throws him onto his huge bed, turns around to go home himself, and ends up passed out on Hinata's couch.
