Acchan is a first-year student at Karasuno High.
Appearance[]
Acchan is a young teen with dark hair swept upwards. He wears large glasses with a blue frame. His usual attire consists of the Karasuno school uniform.
Personality[]
Acchan appears to have a friendly personality and can most often be seen hanging out with Hinata. However, he does seem to have a timid side as he can be seen backing away from Kageyama when he approaches Hinata at one point.
Background[]
Acchan previously attended Yukigaoka Junior High and has known Hinata during that time. Acchan is shown to have been one of those Hinata would often ask to help him practice volleyball; at times sneaking up on Acchan when he finished with his own club activities.[1]
Plot[]
Interhigh Arc[]
After Karasuno lost against Aoba Johsai, Acchan attempts to spend the next lunch period with Hinata but Hinata instead had run off in frustration from his team's defeat the day before.[2]
Tokyo Nationals Arc[]
Acchan finds Hinata one morning before class starts. He is still amazed that the boy's volleyball team has made it to nationals and recalls several times that Hinata had asked for his help in practicing his receives between classes. When Hinata asks if it would be possible to get the music club to support the team at the tournament, Acchan tries to keep Hinata from getting his hopes up since he wouldn't have much influence to make that possible.[3]

- Acchan is most often seen around Hinata and has helped him practice volleyball back in middle school. They appear to be close friends.

- In the manga, Acchan has stated that he is part of the music club.[3] However, in the anime, he claims to be part of one of the sports clubs that lost during the third round of the Interhigh Tournament.
