Akinori Konoha (Japanese: 木葉 (このは) 秋紀 (あきのり) Konoha Akinori) is a Pharmaceutical Company Employee in Tokyo and is an outside hitter for the Ehrgeiz Pharma Volleyball Club

Prior to that he was a third year wing spiker from Fukurōdani Academy.

Appearance Edit

Konoha stands at 178.8 cm. making him the third shortest in his team. He has neat, medium-length dirty-blonde hair, with narrow eyes and an average build. His eyes are often depicted as nearly the same color as his hair in some art works.

Personality Edit

Not much is known about Akinori, although, like the rest of the team, he knows when to cheer up Bokuto when he's in a bad mood. He appears to be competitive and into the sport. Konoha is shown taunting Kenma and Lev saying that they don't have a monopoly on working together, meaning that they don't know how to work together as a team, during the Fukurodani vs. Nekoma match. Komi, his teammate, states that without Konoha, the team can't function properly in Chapter 194.

Background Edit

During his three years at Fukurodani, he was a wing spiker, but able to play all positions.

Plot Edit

Tokyo Expedition ArcEdit

Konoha is introduced as a player of Fukurodani during the practice matches. He is shown with Komi and Sarukui to cheer Bokuto up after the skimmed win over Karasuno

Spring High Preliminary ArcEdit

During the Nekoma match, Konoha was able to cover Akaashi when the latter could not set. He was then called "jack-of-all-trades", a nickname which he doesn't like. He's a well-rounded player, able to play all kinds of position.

Nationals ArcEdit

During the match between Mujinazaka and Fukurodani, Konoha sets the ball to Sarukui Yamato which leads to successfully scoring a point during the time Akaashi is benched. He is seen saying 'No thanks' when Bokuto encourages him to set in his direction. He was able to fool the other team as they all believed Bokuto would do a back attack.
