"Always New" (Japanese: (つね) (あたら) しく Tsuneni Atarashiku) is the one hundred seventy-fifth chapter of the Haikyu!! series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It was published in the 44th issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump’s 2015 series.

With the start of the crucial fifth set, Shiratorizawa Academy starts off strong. Sugawara replaces Kageyama as Karasuno's setter. With the intense pressure, Sugawara tries to calm his nerve. To the surprise of many, Karasuno successfully pulls off a play they practiced during summer camp: The libero sets while everyone else attacks. Thanks to Sugawara's unexpected goal, Karasuno leads 3-1.

With Ukai having Sugawara play as the starting setter for the fifth set in order to let Kageyama rest, Sugawara soon finds his nerves start to grow and his hands grow cold. However, Kiyoko attempts to help him by holding his hands but this instead causes chaos when Sugawara requests Kiyoko wait a while for him to marry her and several of the other boys begin to crowd them.

On Shiratorizawa's side, Washijō warns the team that if they perform poorly during this set he will have them run back to the school. Tendō scares Goshiki by saying that the coach had them do this one time during his first year. Washijō still voices his confidence in the players.

On the court, Tendō notices that Sugawara is the starting setter and mocks the Karasuno team for making the game boring. Hoping to ease Sugawara's nerves, Asahi tells his friend that if he is uncertain of what to do that he can set to him.

Goshiki serves but Tanaka receives. Ushijima does a block-out against Tsukishima's hand and the ball bounces off the officials table. With Ushijima, Reon, and Tendō positioned at the net, Sugawara begins to feel the pressure build. Tendō correctly guesses that Sugawara would first set to Tsukishima and then to Asahi and is able to block both spikes but the second block results in the ball landing out and giving the point to Karasuno. Tendō taunts Sugawara that his method of playing it safe is what allowed him to read the setter so easily. When Sugawara says he did so because his wing spikers are so reliable, Tendō voices how he wants to crush his confidence.

Reon receives Asahi's serve. Shirabu narrowly is able to tap the ball to Tendō. With Sugawara making the first touch, he calls on Nishinoya to make the set. With the libero making the set, the remaining five players go to attack but Sugawara gets the set. With his spike successfully scoring, Sugawara feels confident in his reliability and willingness to try new things.
