Aran Ojiro (Japanese: 尾白 (おじろ) アラン Ojiro Aran) is an outside hitter for the Tachibana Red Falcons, a professional volleyball team in Division 1 of Japan's V-League.

At the time of his introduction, he was a third year student at Inarizaki High School and the volleyball team's wing spiker and ace. He was one of the top aces in Japan. Much like Kōtarō Bokuto, he was the closest to being in the country's top 3. It's been noted that if he were even in reasonably good condition, he would probably make the cut.

Appearance

He appears to have a clean cut and dark tone complexion. He also seems to have thick, round lips and short eyebrows.

Personality

Aran is shown to be a mature, third year student. He is in class five, so it can be assumed that he is rather intelligent. On occasions he seems rather put off by the Miya twins rude and obnoxious behaviour, but other than that, he has been shown to have a strong connection with all of his teammates.

Background

Around fifth grade, Aran took part in a volleyball workshop where he first met the Miya brothers, Osamu and Atsumu, who were both fourth graders at that time.

He has powerful spike serve. He has shown the ability to spike from above the block, which implies he has an exceeding amount of jumping power. In the recent chapter, he is shown to hit three powerful spikes consecutively, even after a faulty receive. At one point, Coach Ukai stated that his ability as a spiker revolves around the Top 3.

Relationships

He appears to have a good relationship with his setter, Atsumu. Aran and Kita appear to be good friends. They are seen walking together after school.

He has known the Miya brothers before their name became a household name.
