Overview
Oikawa continues to pressure the Karasuno team with his serve. With Aoba Johsai close to winning the second set, Karasuno does all they can to stop them.
Plot
With the second set tied at 26-26, Oikawa delivers another powerful serve. Nishinoya attempts to receive the serve but the power behind it does not allow him to receive properly and therefore Aoba Johsai gains the point.
Daichi realizes that he and Nishinoya alone cannot try to receive Oikawa's serve and enlists Asahi to help. Takeda is surprised at seeing Daichi recruit Asahi to help in the serve receive but Ukai trusts that Daichi is making the right call since Oikawa's serve is currently dealing more with power than control. He believes that the receivers will be able to pick up the serve given how they were able to make several receives from Masaki Gōra and Bokuto during the training camps.
Oikawa serves and Daichi is able to receive. Kindaichi attempts a direct spike but Tanaka is able to make the save. Asahi is able to spike past a double block but Hanamaki receives the ball. Kindaichi and Kyōtani make an approach to the net but, a moment too late, Tsukishima spots the set being send to Iwaizumi who is able to get the final point to win the set for Seijoh.
During the court switch, Yamaguchi admires Oikawa's serve and experience as a player. Tanaka approaches and compliments Yamaguchi on his numerous serves but Yamaguchi feels that only half of his serves were as good as he wanted. Tanaka tells Yamaguchi to celebrate the serves that he felt were good and that next time he can do it all over again.
Before the third set begins, Daichi recalls all the times Karasuno has faced Aoba Johsai and how all of their matches against each other have always felt the most intense. As they realize that this will be the last time the teams will face each other with the current members, both teams get ready to play the final set.
