Overview
With the score tied once again, Karasuno sends in Sugawara as a pinch server. Kageyama makes a silent declaration against Shiratorizawa Academy. However, his rhythm is starting to be affected, as shown when he sends out a short toss. Nevertheless, Hinata remembers the former Coach Ukai's words and is able to maneuver his body to compensate for the toss. Karasuno wins the fourth set.
Plot
As Hinata goes back onto the court, he tells Kageyama that he will be able to hit any set he sends no matter how bad it is. Kageyama right away is angered at Hinata saying he would give a bad set.
Sugawara subs in for Tsukishima. Sugawara aims for a hard area and forces Reon to make the receive. Tendō spikes past Hinata but Sugawara is able to receive the ball. Tendō makes up for this when he notices Kageyama's flawless form is starting to slip and he is able to block Hinata. However, the ball landed out and gave Karasuno the point. Akiteru compliments Kageyama for staying strong in such a situation though Ikkei tells him that the setter is sending a silent proclamation that he will not back down.
Sugawara serves again and Reon once more makes the first receive. Thinking that they have Reon pinned down, Karasuno is surprised to see Reon approach to attack. With Reon proving that he will not be contained, he is able to tie the score again and is next to serve. His serve hits the net belt but Nishinoya receives. Kageyama sets to Tanaka who is able to pike past Shirabu and put Karasuno ahead again. As Kageyama delivers a softer serve, Sugawara sees that he did this from seeing that Shiratorizawa's defenders were standing further back.
Yamagata dives to make the receive but the ball goes back to Karasuno. Kageyama sends Hinata the set but it's noticeably short. Hinata surprises everyone by using his left hand to make the spike and getting past Tendō. With this, Karasuno has won the fourth set and put the match at a tie with each team having won two sets. The Karasuno side celebrates their victory as Washijō berates his team for getting caught up in Karasuno's chaotic rhythm.
Though his expression says otherwise, Kageyama compliments Hinata for his last save. As the teams are getting ready for the fifth set, Michimiya notices that Sugawara is being subbed in and Kageyama is brought out.

Trivia
- In celebration of the release of the second compilation movie and the end of the fourth set, a center color page featuring the entire Shiratorizawa Academy Boys' Volleyball's starting lineup. The text reads: "Victory will always be ours."
- There are multiple errors included in the magazine edition. For example, when Tendō blocks Hinata's spike after noting that Kageyama's rhythm is a mess, the person to his left is Goshiki. However, when it is shown that the block is out of bounds, the person to Tendō's left suddenly becomes Ōhira.
- Another error occurs when the two teams are getting reading for the final set. Goshiki is drawn to have jersey number 5 when that number belongs to Tendō, who is leisurely stretching to his right. Goshiki's correct jersey number is 8.
