Middle Blockers

Middle blockers are at the net in the middle of the court between the two outside blockers on defense and are the ones hitting the quick sets or serving as decoys on offence. They strive to be involved in blocking the opponent's hitters wherever they may be on the court. Middle blockers tend to be the tallest players on the team, but there are exceptions.
