"Challenger" (Japanese: チャレンジャー Charenjā) is the two hundred and twenty-seventh chapter of the Haikyū!! series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. It was published in the 47th issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump’s 2016 series.
Overview
The match against Date Tech is now into the eighth and final set. The score is 23-21 with Karasuno in the lead. Karasuno goes for a first tempo synchronized attack with Hinata acting as the decoy for Asahi to score. Asahi is much less afraid of going up against Date Tech and even with three blockers against him, Asahi manages to score ending the game. The score is settled, Date Tech won 4 of the 8 sets and so did Karasuno resulting in a tie.
