"Chapter 15" is the fifteenth chapter of the Let's! Haikyū!? series, written and illustrated by Retsu.
Overview[]
The match against the Neighborhood Association continues.
Plot[]
Kiyoko attempts an artists rendition of the fight between Asahi and Nishinoya and the incident involving the Vice Principal's toupee but her art skills only cause further confusion.
The Ace Is Revived: As Nishinoya is able to narrowly save the ball, Asahi is given the set. With his raw power, he is able to blast through the blockers. With Asahi accepting that he is the ace, Nishinoya, Sugawara, Daichi, and Tanaka all give large smiles even ask Kageyama tries to remind Daichi and Tanaka that they're smiling at the enemy.
The Current Karasuno: As the game continues, Ukai is fairly impressed at the current Karasuno players. However, he doesn't notice Ennoshita in the background with Tobio Lionel biting his head. He does notice that Yamaguchi is leading the reluctant Kinoshita and Narita in a cheer for Tsukishima.
Swelling Potential: After attempting to block a spike from Asahi, Hinata's hands swell and grow larger in size. When he later gets hit on the head by Asahi's next spike, the same swelling occurs to a bump on his forehead.
Admiration: Kageyama looks over to Hinata and guesses that the shorter player is thinking that he'd like to have a beard like Asahi's. As Hinata tries to deny that he wants a beard, Kageyama declares that he shouldn't want something so shabby; the statement upsetting Asahi. Kageyama instead declares that Hinata should want a Kaiser moustache instead of a beard. This seems to win Hinata over as the moustache symbolizes power.
Delaying The Closing Time: A member of the school staff enters the gym to request the gym be cleaned and closed. Takeda tries to assure him that the match will be done soon but is once again mistaken for being a child. Angered at this, Takeda eats several GunGun bars and becomes a large, muscular figure. With the staff member being scared off, Takeda receives praise from Tanaka.
The Pressure Point That Unleashes Abilities: Similar to how he had helped the Vice Principal with his aching back, Kageyama sets the volleyball into Hinata's back. Hinata begins to move about with greater speed than before but begins moving around so fast that he's leaving projections of himself in the process and he is not able to stop moving around.
A Desire He Had Since Chapter 1: Kageyama states that the atmosphere becomes more fun when Hinata is being his goofy self. He questions if Hinata still thinks his role is boring. Hinata suddenly appears while wearing a jester costume and admits that he does not think the role is boring. Kageyama is thrilled that Hinata has finally accepted his position as the king's jester.
