Overview[]
Karasuno heads into the Golden Week Training Camp.
Plot[]
The members of the Neighborhood Association model their own original t-shirts.
Taking A Lethal Dose Of Youth: The Neighborhood Association team has won the practice match. The older men lightly tease the teens about cool things they said during the match that embarrasses some of them. Tsukishima on the other hand, starts withering at the pure and wholesome atmosphere.
Training Camp Begins: Karasuno begins the Golden Week training week and head to Karasuno's training housing. Hinata is excited about getting to attend the training camp but sees Kageyama hanging his royal portraits in every room of the building.
Their Respective Ways Of Bathing: As each grade has their turn in the bath, it becomes clear that each member has their own way of bathing. Sugawara attempts to get Asahi to limit how much shampoo he uses, Tanaka baths with his clothes on since he thinks the others are perverted for thinking he should be naked, and Kageyama installs a lion head fountain in place of the regular showerhead. In another room, Takeda and the Vice Principal are helping Kageyama's animals get clean.
Anti-Noya: Tanaka finds Hinata standing in the hallway and proclaiming that there is a small child among them. Nishinoya suddenly appears behind them and startles the two. However, instead of being his usual and cheerful self, Nishinoya is suddenly a depressed version of himself. When Tanaka realizes that Hinata mistook Nishinoya for the child, Nishinoya suddenly collapses and starts claiming that he is a child and not fit to play volleyball. His state frightens Hinata as Nishinoya explains he becomes like this when his hair is down.
Reckless Communication Skills: Separated from his team, Hinata notices a figure in a red jersey sitting alone. He hurries over to the person and introduces himself before asking if he can play the person's video game. The teen, Kenma Kozume, is right away intimidated by Hinata's outgoing personality that he allows Hinata to play his game and even try on his volleyball shoes.
Cat: After learning Kenma's name, Hinata is questioned about what he is suddenly eating. Hinata tells Kenma that he is eating a bamboo leaf fish cake. To his surprise, Kenma suddenly turns into a cat and steals the fish cake.
Secret: Kuroo appears and is surprised to see Kenma in his cat form. Kuroo explains that he and Kenma are from a lineage that turns into catmen when they see fish cakes. He asks Hinata to not tell their secret. Hinata promises that he will not tell anyone. However, he can't help but show another fish cake in order to see both of them as catmen.
