Overview[]
Hinata and Kageyama attempt to get Daichi to allow them back into the club.
Plot[]
Presentation! Of Teammate Awareness: Hinata and Kageyama attempt various poses and gimmicks in hopes of Daichi allowing the two to return to the volleyball club. Unfortunately, all of their ideas fail and Daichi continues to lock them out of the gym.
True Intentions: Realizing Daichi is not accepting their acts, Kageyama states that he will work together with Hinata and asks to be allowed back in. Daichi questions Kageyama if this is his true intentions and Kageyama mutters how it would be much easier if he could implant a microchip into Hinata's brain that would allow him control of Hinata's abilities whenever he wanted.
Waiting for Permission: Hinata decides to watch through the window as they continue to wait for Daichi's permission to rejoin the club. He surprises Kageyama by crawling about the wall like a gecko in order to get various angles to watch the practice.
Kingly: Kageyama declares that he will become the pillar of the team. Hinata chuckles at his behavior, commenting how this is such kingly behavior. When Kageyama asks how this makes him like a king, Hinata points out that Kageyama is eating a soft egg from a chalice.
Culture: Hinata and Kageyama propose a match between them and the upperclassmen. They attempt to speak in unison but get the timing mixed and talk over one another instead. The two begin fighting again as they try to decide whose timing is correct.
I'm a Setter: Daichi accepts the match on the condition that Kageyama will no longer be a setter if the first years lose. Angered, Kageyama declares that he is a setter and proves his abilities by literally setting Daichi into the air.
Early Morning Practice: Hinata and Kageyama arrive at the gym just before five but find the doors are locked. Tanaka suddenly appears with the gym key to allow them to use the gym but is quickly annoyed when the two first years start rubbing his head.
