"Crow's Angels" is an extra chapter in Volume 21.
Overview[]
As one of the three female leads of Director Ennoshita's new movie, Yachi begins to feel depressed when she compares her appearance to that of her co-stars.
Plot[]
Yachi lets out a depressed noise that catches the attention of Hinata and Tsukishima. They question if anything is wrong and learn that Yachi is upset that Ennoshita would cast her alongside girls like Kiyoko and Saeko, whom she claims are more physically mature and beautiful than herself.
Hinata attempts to cheer her up by pointing out how she is still growing only for Kageyama to appear and claim that the middle blocker has no room to talk about growth since he himself is still so short in height. As the two bicker, Tsukishima tries his hand at helping Yachi by stating there are some people who prefer "smaller" women.
Yamaguchi suddenly appears and declares that each person has their own uniqueness that makes them attractive. His words instantly have a positive effect on Yachi even though Tsukishima claims he said something similar. Takeda, having watched the interaction, believes that Yamaguchi may be the one to have the least trouble in getting a girlfriend.
Feeling better, Yachi goes off to find an outfit and try different poses that can help her hide her less mature body. While Yamaguchi gives her a thumbs-up, Tsukishima wonders if Yachi's new attempt is because of Yamaguchi's inspiring words or if she is possibly acting out of desperation.
