"Declaration of War: Part 3" (Japanese:
Overview[]
The improved Hinata and Oikawa gained momentum in their match against the "Buy Me a Drink" brothers and won the game. Eventually, Oikawa had to return to Argentina and bid goodbye to Hinata with a declaration that he's going to beat everyone. Hinata spent the rest of the one and one-half year training rigorously and becoming a capable player.
Plot[]
After reaching 14-14, the two teams switched sides. Despite their massive improvement, Hinata and Oikawa were still having trouble dealing with the wind, especially when it came to high sets. Hinata concluded that he must move to spike quickly in order to avoid a high set and minimize the wind's influence. With the opponents distracted by Hinata's swift movements, Oikawa took advantage of the moment to score with a dump shot. Hinata was amazed by Oikawa's ability to read the whole court. In response, Oikawa emphasized the importance of paying attention to not only what the opponents are doing but also their viewpoint as well. A while later, Oikawa made the first touch and immediately started an approach run. Hinata was flustered by Oikawa's unexpected movements but rose to the challenge with a decent toss. Eventually, Hinata and Oikawa won the rematch 21-19 and ended up being treated to dinner by the "Buy Me a Drink" brothers.
A few days later, Hinata went to see Oikawa off as the latter departed for Argentina. Oikawa addressed Hinata by his first name for the first time, and the two exchanged thanks after gaining valuable experience from playing together. Oikawa then declared that he will defeat everyone, including Hinata, before taking his leave. Hinata was spurred on by Oikawa's determination and became energized. For the next one year and half, Hinata dedicated immense effort doing physical conditioning and honing his volleyball skills.
In the present time, Hinata and Heitor are in the midst of a beach volleyball match. After a clean receive, Hinata nimbly transitions into a spike and scores for his team. The spectators nearby are in awe and recognize Hinata as the "Japanese Ninja".
