Author's Note[]
Thank you for picking up Haikyū!! volume 7. I have a bad habit of taking a pen (or other drawing implement) with me when I get up to go somewhere—like the foyer—then leaving that pen there and promptly forgetting about it. Then I wander around everywhere looking for it. I think I spend at least 100 hours a year looking for stuff I've lost that way.[3]
Synopsis[]
The Inter-High match between Karasuno and Aoba Johsai continues. Star setter Tohru Oikawa has figured out the secret behind Kageyama and Hinata’s quick sets and has them on the ropes! When Kageyama loses his cool, he ends up getting benched and is subbed out by none other than third year Koushi Sugawara! Will Karasuno’s new approach be enough for them to seize control of the game and win?[3]

![Volume 7 Outtake.png (239 KB) When Kageyama got subbed out of the game, Tsukishima was supposed to rile him up and Ennoshita warning Tsukishima not to do anything. However, the author realized that Tsukishima was supposed to be on the court serving. Thus, the scene was removed and Tsukishima was switched to Nishinoya.[3]](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/haikyuu/images/2/2f/Volume_7_Outtake.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/88?cb=20150715203810)

![Orig Chapter 56.png (218 KB) In the magazine version, the author mistakenly put Nishinoya to the right of Daichi when the latter was receiving Oikawa's serve. However, based on the current rotation, he should have been on the left. The author fixed this mistake and stated that in a real game, this would be a 'positional foul'.[3]](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/haikyuu/images/5/54/Orig_Chapter_56.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/140?cb=20150715203752)
