"Give Your All for Your Teammates" (Japanese: "
Overview[]
After being liberated from the chains of self-doubt, Asahi is determined to fulfill his responsibility as the ace. With the support of his teammates, he finally breaks through Kamomedai's airtight defense and raises the team's morale.
Plot[]
Sugawara starts with a serve right off the bat, aiming at Hoshiumi and makes him receive it. Hirugami spikes but Hinata gets a one-touch. Daichi follows up and Kageyama sends the toss to Asahi. Asahi spikes off the blockers but Kamomedai remains persistent as Nozawa keeps the ball in the air. Asahi notes that it feels as though the Kamomedai players' hands stay up longer than anyone they have faced before. Tsukishima observes that their blockers have a stable stance and hand positioning in addition to possessing high situational awareness.
Once the ball returns to their side, Karasuno begin their synchronized attack. Just before he spikes, Asahi notices Kamomedai blockers entering his vision, albeit much slower than before. He goes for a cross but Kamomedai's third-year libero, Kanbayashi, receives it cleanly. The rally continues. Hoshiumi spikes a very sharp straight but it's picked up by Kageyama. Asahi covers and sends the ball to Hinata, who goes to do his improved "bam" jump. Although surprised by Hinata's jumping powers, Kamomedai easily blocks his spike due to having expertise in dealing with smaller players with one of their own. Tanaka retrieves the rebounded ball and passes it off to Sugawara. Asahi resolutely calls for the toss as he runs towards the net. As he jumps, Hinata notes that it seems as though Asahi is suspended mid-air. Asahi rips through the metaphorical branches that hold him back, and slams the ball into Kamomedai's block. The attempt results in a waterfall ball and earns Karasuno a point.
Mika, who'd been watching the match intently, admits to having underestimated Asahi and apologizes as she watches the Karasuno players celebrate.
