Spring High Preliminary Arc[]
Sakakibara is briefly shown in the Kakugawa volleyball gym, where Hyakuzawa is introducing himself to the team.[1]
Shortly before the match begins, Sakakibara assures that Hyakuzawa is in top form and therefore is confident to win the game. When Kakugawa loses the first set and Hyakuzawa becomes confident about gaining more points, Sakakibara is seen being proud of his determination. After Kakugawa loses, Sakakibara uses the metaphor of the team having "being baby chicks" to say that they weren't prepared enough to win.
