Trivia[]

  • An extra flashback is shown back to Shinzen's 3rd gym. When Lev asks Kuroo if he could block Ushijima, but answers that he could block one out of ten, Kuroo says that one point could worth 100 depending on the situation of the blocked point.
    • This is adapted from the start of Volume 17 Chapter 153.
    • Manga: The flashback appears during the first set, when Ushijima spikes over Tsukishima. Anime: It appears after Tsukishima blocks Ushijima's spike and Hinata tells Tsukishima that that point was worth 100.
  • Towards the end of the movie, an extra part is added. The Shiratorizawa team is back at school, where Ushijima tells everyone a piece of personal improvement as the third-years will be retiring.
    • This is adapted from Volume 21 Chapter 190.
    • Manga: After the team start with their 100 serves penalty, Washijo is informed that there is a call from Johzenji's coach, Anabara. Anime: This is skipped.
  • Burnout Syndrome's Hikariare is used as the ending theme of the movie.
