Haikyū!! Donpisha Match!! (Japanese: ハイキュー!!ドンピシャマッチ!! English: Haikyu!! Perfect Match!!) is a mobile game develped by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was released for iOS and Android devices in August 2016[1] and was only available in the Japanese market. As of November 6th, 2018, the game has been terminated.[2]
Gameplay[]
In Donpisha Match!!, players can create their own dream volleyball team with the Haikyuu!! characters. These characters are unlocked through the gacha or special events and have corresponding set of skills that can be used. When creating a team, it is possible to combine characters' skills to activate a team skill. For example, linking Futakuchi and Aone's blocking skill allows players to use The Iron Wall team skill that boosts the team's block by 120%.
The players can train their teams to level up their characters, or to compete with other players' teams. There are also daily and weekly missions available that offer rewards of gacha tickets and memory expansion to the participating players. The game often has special events and releases new event cards that unlock special storylines, such as a Christmas event with Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.
In addition, players can customize their characters with different clothing by collecting special cards, including cards of Oikawa and Iwaizumi in casual attires while watching the Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa match. There is a blue t-shirt icon in the bottom right of the card, allowing the players to change the characters' clothes.
