Haikyū!! Shōsetsuban!! 2: Pep Rally before the Inter-High (Japanese: ハイキュー!! ショーセツバン!! 2 IH前“壮行式” Haikyū!! Shōsetsuban!! 2 IH mae “sōkōshiki”) is the second book in the Haikyū!! Shōsetsuban!! series of light novels written by Kiyoko Hoshi and based on Haikyū!! by Haruichi Furudate. It was published in Japan by Shueisha on December 28, 2013.[1]
Synopsis[]
Before the Inter-High qualifier, a "send-off ceremony" is held in front of all the students to express their willingness to go to the tournament. In front of the big event, the second years of the Karasuno High School Volleyball Club led by Tanaka & Nishinoya make a leap to put a certain "plan" into practice...!?

Trivia[]
- FINAL HAIKYU QUEST is based on a movie poster created as part of the ongoing Director Ennoshita gag in the manga. It was also turned into two DLC minigames included with Haikyū!! Tsunage! Itadaki no Keshiki!! and Haikyū!! Cross Team Match!.
- In February 2024, to celebrate 30 years of Jump J-Books, the novel was rereleased with a Sportiva × Haikyū!! Shōsetsuban!! collaboration cover.[2]
