They were able to set up a triple block, Ichibayashi's libero was ready. However, when Bokuto spiked, he was shut down by the block. Fukurōdani tried to save the ball, but they were too slow, resulting in Ichibayashi's victory 15-13 in the final set. Ichibayashi's coach and players are celebrating and the crowd is ecstatic.

Aftermath[]

Immediately after the ball touched the ground, Konoha apologized for his bad set. Bokuto said that the fact that he could even set the ball at the time was amazing despite Konoha not being a setter. Bokuto says it was his fault and that he needed to score on that one because he is the ace, and that they always need to make each spike count. Akaashi didn't want to tell Bokuto that it was Bokuto's fault; he really didn't want to because he is an ace and already knows well. Konoha remembers all the times when Bokuto was a pain, such as when he messed up a backflip, Komi and Sarukui agree. As the crowd is going crazy, Ichibayashi goes in for one final huddle celebrating the victory, and the orange mascot is running out to the court to meet them. Konoha says to Bokuto that he will be cheering for him all the way.
