Overview[]
When Yumie Kita starts receiving calls from a suspicious person, Kita and the Inarizaki team decide to find out who is calling her.
Plot[]
In the Kita house, Yumie answers the phone. The person on the other end is claiming to be her grandson, asking for three hundred thousand yen for a trip traveling a great distance. With the promise of a phone call to arrange a meet place, Yumie begins getting things ready when she bumps into Kita and states she will give him the money he asked for. However, her grandson questions how she doesn't notice anything odd about the situation.
Later, he invites his teammates over to help him figure out who is trying to scam his grandmother. With the team split on whether or not they will follow Kita's desire to make the culprit perform Ushizaki, they do collectively agree that scamming the elderly is an unforgivable act and must be brought to justice. Ginjima asks how they can find out who is behind all of this. Kita explains that the caller will set up a place to meet. During that call, they will get details of their appearance and then attack at the meet spot. Atsumu questions why they don't just call the police to handle things, but Kita turns down the suggestion as it would prevent him from going through with his Ushizaki plan.
With Kita firmly set on getting revenge, the group gather around the phone when it starts ringing. Yumie answers the phone and is told by the caller that he is Kita. When Yumie confirms the money is ready, the boys try to get her to get information about his appearance that can help them identify him. With the twins falling into a fight due to Osamu wanting to know about their pants, Yumie surprisingly asks the question and learns the caller is wearing red trunks. With his teammates stunned the question was answered, Suna tries to picture how silly Kita would look wearing adorable animal shorts and vocally questions what pants Kita wore today which causes the others to ask why he is thinking about this.
Kita has them be silent so the caller will not hear them. While this works, the caller questions what Yumie will be wearing so he can identify her. Ginjima points out this is a giveaway to the caller being a stranger as he would know Yumie by sight. Atsumu gives Yumie details that overall describes Aran wearing his volleyball uniform. Aran feels this will not work since he shares no resemblance with Yumi, but Kita feels it might work since he claims Yumie had a "funky" style.
Later, Aran is attracting the attention of people around him due to wearing his volleyball jersey and shorts as he waits in a public area. During a check-in with his teammates, Aran spots the caller approaching and is shocked to see Lazy Kita. The others are also surprised to see Lazy Kita with Kita the only one wondering who he is. Atsumu tries to remind him of their previous trip to the lake where Kita had been split into two personalities and had named the lazy version Minami.
Minami explains he had been bored under the lake and had escaped with the hope of taking a trip. However, he needed money to take the trip since he only had a few coins and had called Yumie knowing she would do anything for her grandson. With his admission heard by all, he is once more tied up by the twins and hauled back to the lake where Kita personally throws him in.
After everything is settled, Yumie comments how Lazy Kita was funnier and seemed like he would get married a lot faster than Kita.
