The volleyball club is presumably quite strong considering they defeated the Interhigh champions Itachiyama Institute in the quarterfinals, causing a surprising upset. They went on to lose to the Spring High finalist, Fukurōdani Academy in the semifinals, ranking in the top 4 in the nation.
One of their most notable players is Ryōsei Kai, a tall first-year middle blocker. Not much is known about the rest of the squad.

Trivia[]
- According to the final guidebook, Inubushi Higashi is the representative for Kyoto. It is changed to Hiroshima in the anime.
- In the manga, Inubushi Higashi supposedly played against Itachiyama Institute in the quarter finals of the Spring Tournament. However, in the anime, Inubushi is placed as the #6 team in Itachiyama's zone, which would mean that they would play Itachiyama in the 3rd round. It is unknown if this is a corrected error from the manga or the anime.
- In the anime, Inubushi's first opponent is Ajisu High School. However, in the manga, their spot on the bracket and first 3 opponents are not revealed.
- Although Ryōsei Kai is a first-year, he wears the number 4 jersey. It is unknown if this is a mistake or if the school is not strict about the players following numerical order.
