Appearance[]
Despite being tall for an average Japanese high school student, Kanazawa is the team's shortest third-year. Like the rest of his team, he wears a red bandana around his short dark hair.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Kanazawa's personality, but he seems like a fairly confident and dependable individual.
Plot[]
Kanazawa spikes the first shown ball of the match during the beginning of the first set and gets past Kuroo's block. Despite the team captain noticing Nekoma trying to stray Sarukawa's blockers away from the left, Kanazawa still fails to block Kai coming from the left. Sarukawa starts to worry when they notice that Nekoma wants to lure out their blockers. Seeing this, Kanazawa attempts to focus on getting each point and to cease their worrying. Additionally, Shishio tells his team that their pressure would only result in their loss and that Kenma was still exhausted either way.

Like the rest of his team, he is excellent at receiving and digging. Kanazawa is also able to aim his spikes in places to make it harder for the other team to receive and doesn't hesitate to do feints.
