Appearance[]
Akakura is a young man of average height with a shaved head, thin eyebrows, and blue eyes. He can often be seen with a kind smile and wearing the Shiratorizawa track suit.

Akakura appears to be a friendly person. He is seen getting along well with others.
Plot[]
Tokyo Nationals Arc[]
Akakura is one of the first-years that helps as a ball boy during the First Year Training Camp at Shiratorizawa Academy along with Sagae and Hinata. He mostly appears in the background and admires the height and talent many of the other first-years possess. Sagae and Akakura show some mild envy when they watch third-year middle schooler Nagamatsu play in a game and learn that Nagamatsu has already been accepted into Shiratorizawa for the following year.
During the Spring Tournament, Akakura occasionally appears during different games to watch Karasuno's matches and seems most interested in Hinata's plays.

- Akakura and Sagae appear to be close friends, as they are seen together in most of their scenes.
Shōyō Hinata[]
- Akakura, along with Sagae, quickly and easily befriend Hinata at the First Year Training Camp. They later watch the match between Karasuno and Inarizaki.
Trivia[]
- Although Akakura is stated to be the player with the number 13 jersey, a different person is seen with the number in the anime in the match between Shiratorizawa and Karasuno.
- It is still unknown today if it is a corrected error in either the manga or the anime.
