"Killer Technique" (Japanese:
Overview
Tendō is thinking of coming up with a killer technique called the "Shooting Star".
Plot
Tendō reveals to his teammates that he is thinking of creating a killer technique. He reveals the name to be "Shooting Star" in English even though it's written in Kanji as "ryuusei". His teammates don't take his claim seriously but decide to humor him anyways. They ask Tendō when he will be using the technique, and Tendō reply he will be using it in his special block. During a practice match, Tendō shows off his technique as he flies sideways across the court, all the while completely leaving the spiker open. Coach Washijō shouts at him for fooling around while Shirabu and Reon admit it is truly like a shooting star.
