We appreciate your work on the Wiki, but some of your recent edits have been rather questionable. We noticed that on September 12, 2015, you deleted the affiliation section for over 30 characters. Then today, September 13, you put them back (see Tetsurō Kuroo for an example). Spamming is against our wiki's blocking policy. Before we issue a formal vandalism warning, though, I would just like for you to clarify the rationale behind these of your edits.
I found it strange that karasuno high players didn't have affiliation so i thought i should delete them to match the karasuno page. Then i tried to add the affiliation to karasuno players, but the content for that didn't exist.Because most of them had character infobox major;for example Oikawa page doesn't have affiliation because the template doesn't have it, but Kindaichi , whish is under character infobox minor, has it.After i noticed this, i put back affiliation to all the characters that i removed it from.I apologize that i made a mestake, but i think affiliation should be added to Character Infobox(Major) Template.Sorry about this reply being a bit too long and late.
Thanks for your reply. I will surely bring up your suggestion of maybe adding an "Affiliations" section to the info boxes for major characters. When you noticed the “Affiliations” discrepancy, though, the wiser move would have been to contact one of the admins instead of deleting that info from 30 something pages and then adding them back the next day. I would need to discuss with the other admins if your action warrants a vandalism warning.
With that said, I really appreciate everything you have done so far. With the new season coming up, our wiki’s traffic will (hopefully) increase. We want these new users to see a better wiki, and you are certainly helping with that effort.
Sorry if I'm butting in, but the reason the templates on the Karasuno member and Oikawa's pages don't have affiliation and don't really match the Minor character template is that back when the wiki was going through the huge renovation, the 2 templates were only made as drafts to demonstrate an idea to the former bureaucrat. They were later approved and used, but the renovators forgot to look them over before publishing them due to the numerous projects going on. Both templates have been edited several times since then but because there are still a lot of things to do on the wiki, the irregularities haven't really been touched on. But I do agree that affiliations should be added onto the new templates since it's a somewhat important detail.
Hello, I am Bureaucrat Fattieschan, and first of all, I would also like to thank-you for your incredible work! You have already hit #2 on Badge Rankings within the three days you have been on this Wiki, and you have added so much to this Wiki. However, we came across a few problems, and other administrators have contacted you about said problems, so I am very sorry if we seem like we are bombarding you with a ton of problems with your edits, but we have also recently noticed that some of your images that you have uploaded seem to be of low-quality and do not meet our standards for images on this Wiki. Therefore, we must unfortunetly inform you that we must delete those images. Before we do so, however, we would like you to review the images we have scheduled for deletion and reply with any comment(s) or concern(s) you may have about this issue, so please review the following list of said images:
Let me answer on behalf of Fattieschan. We don't have a default resolution. Rather, we prefer images that are clear. For example, some of the problems of this image of Sugawara is that it is grainy and you can even that some of the lines are jagged. We would prefer a much more crisp version of this image since it exists somewhere. (You can go to the HD version of that episode and get a screencap.) However, there are times when a high quality version does not exists. Take this image, for example. That image was taken from Chapter 115 page 18. As you could see, the source limits the final quality of the image. In this case, we have no choice but to keep this image.
I would like to thank you for all the work you have put so far into the wiki. I really appreciate you creating the pages for the special chapters. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact me or any of the other admins. Once again, thanks for everything!
To be honest, us admins have not talked about creating pages for home video releases. If you want to create them, please feel free to do so.
As for your second question, I'm not really sure what you mean by "tables for story arc page." Are you talking about a box that goes on each page to serve as a navigation (here's an example) or a table that goes on a page? If you could clarify it for me, I may be able to help you more.
P.S. I'm in chat right now. If you want, we can talk there. If not, just reply to this message.
Hello Airhighfly, I'm Noya, one of the admins over here on this wiki. It has come across my attention that you have been deleting references on many of the pages. Is there a reason why you're doing this? If you're doing this without reason, I'll have to consider your edits spamming and give you a warning. Let me know as soon as possible. Thank you.
Hello! I'm also one of the admins of this wiki. First of all, I would like to thank you for creating those special chapter pages. However, in addition to Noya's question, I like to ask why did you add categories such as "Images of Tōru Oikawa" to the special chapter pages? These types of categories should only be assigned to images.
To answer NoyaThePenguin's question, I've been deleting references because a lot of other wikis don't use them and I think the volume pages look better without them. All of the information I put on there is from a reliable site, so I apologise that I removed them.
And to answer 1qaz2wsx3edc4rfv's question, I didn't know that they are only assigned to images. I can remove them right away if it's a problem.
Thanks for answering our questions. I think we should keep the reference to the page number, ISBN and release date of a volume. We should strive to reference all our hard info as much as possible. As for my question, I understand where the confusion comes from. After all, our wiki's policy isn't clear on how to categories chapters. But as I mentioned in my original post, those types of categories should only apply to images.
