Obviously, I feel like we have the most animosity between us. So, I'd like to apologise for everything. Not just for what I've send, but for the way I've been acting recently. I hope you find yourself sticking with us for a while and if you don't, I understand. If you decide to stick, let's become friends - let's not fight. That's the last thing this wiki needs :)
You've finally noticed. I would like to apologize as well. The whole thing started actually when wikia met its downfall with this horrible skin. Many wiki's have left to join independent wiki's. I was working on wiki's were there was not such thing as a community, and many contributors who I've asked help for didn't really helped out. They only came when the manga series was still ongoing, or when the anime appeared of the series. After it was finished, they left. Due to that, I still worked hard to make it recognizable, but it didn't helped. I cannot handle a community nor do I understand what they really want. I had a lot of contributors lecturing me about it and tried my best, but for me due to that experience, it was hard for to let things go.
I've placed a lot of work at this wiki, and leaving it is painfull. However, there is a new generation that can maybe restore the feeling that I had and stay loyal to the wiki. After all the discussion and such, I'm too emberassed to stay around here. But I have other wiki's that also need my help, so I need to be there.
My head has been cleared a little by all the pressure from here. I've made an offer to Fattieschan to make things go smoothly for the votings. I'm revoking my administrator rights right away, for another wiki that needs my help. In trade, I'll give him or her the administrator rights for matters to block vandals. When the time comes when the community choose either one of you two, Fattieschan has to drop her rights and pass it on, so that it will stay fair for the community.
As for now, we're friends again. I will have a blind eye for seeing what has happened in the past weeks. Tell me what has happened on the wiki as well.
Recently, the Wiki community has come to an issue about the format of character pages. To fix this, we are conducting a general voting session to the community for the format of the pages. To ensure that this voting session is accurately representative of the Haikyuu!! Wiki Community, we (the rest of the Haikyuu!! Wiki community) are sending out notifications to almost all Haikyuu!! WIki user that has been listed in the "No Group" group and "Administrators" group regardless of status of inactivity or activity; to also prevent several problems, unlisted or banned registered users will not be sent the notification. If you see this message, please participate in our voting session.
I'm sorry for bothering you when you already have so much going on, but I noticed that the chapter summaries have been changed to past tense. I read your message on Healnarutoule's wall and how you prefer past tense, and I hate bringing up old issues that have already been resolved, but as someone who takes grammar seriously–sometimes too seriously–I need to say this.
I think present tense should be used for plot summaries.
Like Healnarutoule said, fictional works are considered timeless so they should always be discussed in present tense. If they're discussed in past tense, that really messes up the flow and other things. Stuff like "character revelation, trivia, etc" will always be discussed in present tense no matter what; they just can't be changed to past tense. So if the summary is in past tense but the trivia is in present tense...it just doesn't match.
That aside, you said that the reason you prefer past tense is because most wikias are doing it that way; so I looked around at some of the other wikias but a lot of them use present tense (KnB, Hunger Games, Eyeshield 21, Naruto, etc). Wikipedia also uses present tense.
I know that it might look and feel weird, and I understand the whole "summaries are histories so they should be in past tense"; but past tense doesn't work for summaries. It's not about the rules and all that stuff, but it's more about getting the tense to fit with the time flow. It's extremely hard to write summaries in past tense because there are a lot of things going on in chapters/episodes such as sudden flashbacks or a narrator talking. Healnarutoule has been doing a good job with her chapter summaries but I can tell that she has trouble sometimes deciding whether to use past or present tense. Using present tense is the easiest way.
All in all, I'm asking for permission to write the summaries in present tense. Please consider my request and thank you very much. Again, I apologize for adding on to your troubles.

We need (most) of these things done by tomorrow, because we can't do anything without it. Especailly navigation and the renaming of characters, plus i'm going to compile a list of episodes that need to be renamed, since it doesn't match the episode list/there's an unneeded (episode) at the end of the title. Thanks.
I know you're not light on giving adminship, but it seems like there's still unfinished things on the wiki we need to change. It seems you're very busy with life, but I've been on the wiki a lot as of late. Chan and Jin agree with me, but ultimately, it's your choice :)
Chan and Jin agree to make me admin, because we believe that I could help improve the wiki a lot. If there's any way you can make me admin again, can you. We still have a lot of unfinished things to finish on this wiki. Thank you.
Sorry but, I do not make people administrator by just voting, only when I see real potential in someone. And we actually also agreed on two days while knowing the project is going to be much longer than just 2 days. But there are also a lot of other users that are given their all to finish this wiki without administrator right, it actually feels unfair in some way.
Hey Kid, I understand you're a bit wary of me and maybe a little bit pissed at me, but what do you mean by "potential"? You keep saying that you only make people admin if you see people with potential. Do I not have potential? Have I not given my all the two days that I edited here? Anyways, the reason why I need adminship is not so I can flaunt it around. Me, Jin and Chan are currently (there are some more too) some of the only active users on this wiki. Most of our edits are either renaming/reformatting/moving pages. You can't do that without an admin. There's also people who are vandilising and creating nonsense pages. When I was admin, Jin, me and Chan were able to get rid of those vandilisations. Also, I was able to help format the character pages, but some of them have redirect links, which throws off everything. Jin needed to edit some chapters, but there was a redirect link, so she couldn't find it. I was able to delete the redirect page, so there wasn't that issue anymore. I can type every single thing that I've done (with major help from Jin and Chan, don't get me wrong) that has helped improve this wiki. If you don't want to talk potential, then let's talk facts. Jin, Chan and me need an admin who is on more active (I understand fully that you're busy, I've been super busy too), so vandilism can be removed right on the spot and we can move on to the next item on our lists without needing to wait for an admin to either approve it or do something about it. This is a community, meaning that we each all have a voice. To create a nice environment, you need to listen to your users. We are asking you, as a community, to make me admin - not for selfish reasons, but because it's a necesity. We can't have an admin who's on every other day. We need someone who's on every other hour. Besides, if anyone has an issue, they can ask either one of us, instead of spamming one person at a time. And - these issues can be solved much quicker with more than one admin. I apologise if this sounds really rude, but this is not my intention. I hope you understand I'm just voicing out the opinions that me, Jin and Chan has had for days. I understand your position and how frustrating this is to have someone new ask you and bother you about this matter, but seriously - we need another admin. This is NOT a treat, not an act of malice or anything with bad intentions. This is me, a member of this community, asking you about a matter. Please, don not take this the wrong day and I hope you don't have any bad impressions of me. I'm not trying to steal your position or seem better then you. We're just trying to get more then one admin.
Could you please stop about the administrator stuff, this has been going on like for two days now. I'm very sorry if that sound rude, but I though that two days for you would be enough to do what you actually pleased. If you actually have seen in the first place that it takes longer than two days, then you've could ask me if you wanted the rights for an entire month.
With potential I mean, the one who can fill in information, creating articles, helping out and be nice for one another. I didn't meant, someone who can help out with the layout and polices and stuff. Actually, you guys are talking about the layout in progress when I actually read it like this, rather being more sourcable about the series.
It takes time before I see potential in someone and knowing for sure to leave the wiki in good hands, rather in the hands of a person who tries to abuse their rights by showing off. I need a successor, someone who is dedicated to the wiki, someone who add information, someone who helps out other contributors, someone who is understandable, someone who do not loses their patience.
However, I thought that we agreed on two days, I never thought that it would become such a burden to have this conversation over again. I'm not angry, I really feel disappointed.
Also: How many accounts do you actually own........
There are still a lot of things that haven't been fixed on the wikia, and some of the issues have already been here before TheLittleRabbit joined. Everry time someone has a problem, the only person we can go to is you because you're the only admin here. We don't want to spam you, and I'm sure you don't want to be spammed either.
We don't want you to step down. You have done much more for this wikia than any of us have; most of the pages were even created by you.
We just want a second admin.
You can stay as the bureaucrat, but we're asking if you can add secondary admins.
You're not really a coder so why not have a secondary admin who can code for you? You will be the head of the wikia and TLR will be a second admin.
But, I think we can get something sorted out if we talk to each other at the same time so is it possible for you to go over this issue with TLR, me, and maybe fattieschan on the chat? Can we can find a time to meet up on chat and discuss this?
Sigh, I really feel too much spammed about the same topic constanstly. Anyways, how do you actually know that I'm not a coder? I do not actually need someone to code for me. Listen, I do not pick up a second administrator out of nowhere. Just show me how dedicated you guys are for the wiki. And I know you guys are dedicated to the wiki with every bit you guys got to share for everyone. First of all, it also too early to pick up a new administrator when there is a new contributor who is getting admin rights out of nowhere without helping out with filling information.
To be clear: I do not give administrator rights to newly registered contributors that early. Also, I do not give administrator rights to contributors who are not sharing their knowledge about the series.
To let this finally stop, I will contribute to this wiki.
Hi! TheLittleRabbit didn't finish changing the wikia completely, so there are a few links on the navigation bar and main page that don't work or are redirects. There are a lot of things but I don't want to bother you too much so I'll just list the major ones:
-On the main page, under characters, Suga (Teams) doesn't work; it only leads us to the image. Yamaguchi (Our Staff) links to a blank space instead of the List of Admins page.
-Navigation bar: Characters:
-Fukurodani High is spelled wrong so it doesn't link to the school page. Bokuto's name is also spelled wrong, so same issue there.
Since only admins can edit the navigation bar and main page, I want to ask if you can fix them. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you.
Oh, sorry but I don't know either because since only admins can edit those things, when TheLittleRabbit and Fattieschan were fixing up the wikia, only TLR worked on the navigation bar and main page. So noone else knows how to code that stuff........sorry.
Sure, I will do that. Also, about blocking unregistered users from editing on this wiki, well long ago I've requested it to the staff, but they've became pretty vague as of late, so I do not put my hopes for requesting something, only for a clear reason. Probably that will also not let them to see the issue.
Alright, a lot of vandalism has been happening, so I'm trying my best to keep it all intact. Thank you, though, for responding to my message, and thank you very much for taking action! I really appreciate it!
