Sorry for the late reply. I love all your suggestions, especially the one about changing the episode header into a portable infobox. I was thinking a while ago to add a corresponding manga chapter section to the header but never got to it. It would fit better as a infobox than the current template.
Hello. I spent much time adding his quotes last night, but I only added several of what he said. I think I put some relatively important words. And I really hope you can help to further edit his information. I have picked up what I haven't noticed before, which made me like him more.
this may just be me but i was looking at Yukigaoka players Koji and Izumi and i noticed, on two different manga sites, that their names are switched from what's shown on the character list than in the manga?
These are the English spelling given from the original Japanese version. Most if not all of our character names follow the Japanese version instead of Viz (Tōru Oikawa vs Tohru Oikawa or Aobajohsai vs Bluecastle) so this is just to stay consistent with the rest of the naming. I have added a note on Barnes and Romero's page to indicate that their names are changed for the official English translation. Also, typing in "Oliver Barnes" should direct you to the right page. We can add a redirect to the other two as well.
Just in case you are wondering why the chapter titles need to match Viz, it's because most of them are from fan translations and Viz is more official in comparison.
Ah ok, that makes sense. The naming conventions can be a little confusing, I had been wondering why other character names were different from Viz, but if we're following the Japanese release as closely as possible that makes sense.
Maybe this could be summarised on the Manual of Style, just so it's clear for everyone?
Also... it appears that we've settled on using Haikyū!!, but the wiki is still named Haikyuu!!... are we not changing it for SEO reasons, or is there another reason?
Good idea! I will add it to the Manual of Style page.
About the wiki naming, it was like this when I first started editing the wiki in 2018, and I just left it alone. I have to ask the other admin/bureaucrat if we want to change the name to Haikyū!!. I would assume it's for SEO reasons.
Hi again! I made a page called "Schools by Prefecture" where I sorted the schools in Haikyuu by prefecture, however, I am unsure how to catergorize the page. I was thinking of catergorizing it under "real life" and/or "location", but I wanted your second thoughts. Also, if you need help on anything in particular, let me know! If not, I can find ways to add to the wiki myself, so no worries regardless.
Hello Anna, my name's Alex, & I sadly have to inform you that Jadium is no longer working at Fandom. They might still be around to help out pro bono, but officially I am your new Wiki Manager and would be happy to assist you as Jadium once did, be it with something technical such as templates or CSS, best practices for articles, taking your feedback, or any number of things. Occasionally I'll drop in to ask how things are going.
If you need any help from me, feel free to reach out here or on Discord @ Ursuul#0575.
Should I include that Aran is apart of the national team on his profile? In the one spread of the Japan line-up, Aran is not included. However when Kita says how proud he is of his teammates, he points to the TV, where both Atsumu and Aran can be seen in the National Japanese Jersey.
