Appearance[]
He has short, dark grey hair and dark eyebrows. He has a rather large frame.
He wears a yellow volleyball jersey with white details and the number nine printed in black.
Personality[]
Like the rest of his team, Īzaka is pretty energetic when he's playing volleyball and does not take it as seriously until they start losing 11-17 in the second set and Misaki helps them get their act together.
Plot[]
Spring High Preliminary Arc[]
Īzaka plays as a starting middle blocker in the match against Karasuno High during the Spring Qualifiers. As the match begins, Futamata's save with foot allows Īzaka to spike and score. Shortly after, Futamata and Īzaka perform a quick set, and one spectator remarks that despite their wild style, they can still manage regular plays. During the second set, he fails to block Hinata.
After Misaki's lecture, Futamata sets to Īzaka and he is able to score. He also takes part in the synchronized attack at the end of the second set. Along with the other members, are shown blushing when Misaki compliments their plays at the end of the match. He and his team all thank Misaki for her help.
