"Rest Day" (Japanese: 休突日 Kyūtotsubi) is an extra chapter in Volume 33. It was published on August 3rd, 2018.
Overview
Aran wants to take a rest from retorting against the Miya twins, but the break lasts much shorter than he expected.
Plot
Aran is tired of playing the straight man to the Miya twins' jokes and wants a day of rest. He informs his intention to his teammates. Initially, Osamu seems to accept his request. He explains that they don't have to follow up on jokes just because they are from Kansai. Atsumu protests and tells his twin to have more Kansai pride. The twins then reveal the words printed on their shirts, which describe people born and raise in areas completely outside of the Kansai region. Aran immediately faceplants as he can't help but retort against the Miya twins' antics. Meanwhile, Suna gives Aran a thumbs up. Aran's rest day lasts a total of only 30 seconds.
