Shinji Watari (Japanese: 渡親 治 Watari Shinji) is a 2nd year libero in Aobajōsai High.
Appearance
He has a black buzzcut and is shown to be tan.
Personality
He seems to enjoy being challenged as when Nishinoya Yuu used the same move as Watari usually does to toss, the latter only smiled. It's shown that he can be very gentle and supportive when he tries to cheer up Kyōtani after he misses a point regardless of Kyōtani's lack of proximity with the rest of the team.
Background
Before he studied in Aobajōsai High and became the team's libero, it was mentioned that he was actually a setter.
