Appearance[]
Onagawa is a young male with thick, unruly black hair and small, thin eyebrows. His eyes are slightly hooded and give him a rather sleepy appearance. While he is slightly taller than average, he is one of the shorter players on the team.
Personality[]
Onagawa's personality is not very detailed. In majority of his appearances, Onagawa appears to be rather quiet but hard working and on friendly terms with his teammates.
Plot[]
Spring High Preliminary Arc[]
He is first seen in the match between Date Tech High and Aoba Johsai, where he plays as a wing spiker. During the second set, Iwaizumi serves, and he seems to be about to score when Onagawa receives it and gains Date Tech the rally. Date Tech would eventually lose the match but would receive support from the retired third-years about how they can become stronger.
Tokyo Nationals Arc[]
Onagawa is the first one to serve, but Nishinoya is easily able to bump it. Sometime in the second set, Onagawa, along with Obara and Fukiage, all see a cross-shot from Tanaka incoming and set up a triple block to stuff him. Although it does not succeed, the ball goes out-of-bounds. A few rallies later, Onagawa serves, and Daichi is barely able to bump it.

Compared to the rest of the team, Onagawa's abilities are average. In fact, he is on the bottom when it comes to power, second only to Sakunami. However, he is the best when it comes to game sense and technique. He also seems to have a stable ability over offense and defense.[1]
