Kageyama told Hinata to jump as fast and high as he could wherever there weren't any blockers, and Kageyama would get the ball to him. Hinata didn't have to see the toss to hit it, and Hinata showed doubt about the idea, but Kageyama told him that they were going to try. Kageyama thought back to Suga’s words and calmed down, gaining full concentration on the game. Taking everything that was part of the game in, Kageyama then found the perfect angle and time and tossed to Hinata who spiked with all his strength. It hit the floor on the other side of the net, shocking everyone because of the speed, but what was most shocking was the fact that Hinata had his eyes closed. Kageyama told Hinata that they would try again, but they missed the next time, though Kageyama found himself smiling due to how fun it was. Hinata then thought over the feeling of the ball hitting his hand and how much he loved the feeling. The next play, Hinata ran to one side, tricking Tsukishima and Yamaguchi into blocking on that side, but he then ran to the other side with his eyes closed until he got to the top where he spiked Kageyama’s toss. He looked to the other side of the net where Daichi was running towards the ball but the captain missed it. Hinata examined his hands before he and Kageyama yelled in success.
