Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium is a sporting complex that opened 1990 to replace the previous venue on the site that was opened in 1954[1]. It consists of a 3,220m2 main arena, a 1,330m2 sub arena, two swimming pools, an athletics field, two outdoor multi-purpose futsal courts and other sporting facilities[2].
