The Tokyo Skytree is first mentioned in the chapter Let's Go to Tokyo!! For Real!!, when Ryūnosuke Tanaka and Yū Nishinoya mistake a "regular cell phone tower" for the Skytree. In the chapter Omnivores, Shōyō Hinata asks Kenma Kozume about the Skytree, before mistaking a cell tower for the Tokyo Tower instead.
In real lifeEdit
The Tokyo Skytree is a real broadcasting and observation tower located in Sumida Ward, Tokyo. It is the tallest free-standing tower in the world and the second tallest structure, after the Burj Khalifa. It was built to replace Tokyo Tower, as the switch from terrestrial to digital broadcasting meant a taller tower was needed.
