Chapter 402 includes a colored double spread of every team, including Ubugawa, and their school colors are revealed to mainly consist of marine blue and a bit of white.
In the practice matches during the Tokyo Training camp, the volleyball players are seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and white shorts, with a dark green sports bib on top.

Ubugawa excels in jump serves, a skill that the members refine by doing a hundred serves after practice every day. They commonly use "serve-and-block", a strategy in which the players aim to destroy the opponents with the serve, try to limit the opponents' attack space, and then block.
Ubugawa is also a member of the Fukurōdani Academy Group which is composed of teams from the Kanto Region. For years, the schools have been holding summer training camps and practice matches with one another.
