Appearance[]
He has a short black hair that is always down that his bangs part by his left eye. His sharp eyes and constant frown gives him a scowled look. Slightly above his eyes are long eyebrows that get thinner as they get closer to his ears.
Personality[]
He does not show much expression whenever he's shown, except for when he cries after Wakunan loses to Karasuno.
Plot[]
Interhigh Arc[]
Shiroishi's first appearance is in the Chapter Powerful Opponents, where is seen on a magazine, along with Takeru and Kawatabi, when Coach Ukai explains how Wakunan is a school to watch out for.
He is seen the manga along with Kawatabi and Takeru watching the finals between Aoba Johsai and Shiratorizawa.
Spring High Preliminary Arc[]
In the match against Karasuno, both Shiroishi's delayed spike and Matsushima are used as decoys for Kawatabi. In the following rally, Shiroishi does an impressive jump serve. Sometime later, Shiroishi's spike is deflected by Hinata. During the third set, Nishinoya notices Shiroishi making a tip. At one point, performs a feint against Tsukishima and Kageyama.
Aside from Hanayama, Shiroishi and the other Wakutani Minami members all yell in alarm when Nakashima gets blocked. Shiroishi also critics Nakashima for having his form been too predictable when approaching to jump. At Kawatabi's impressive save to support Nakashima, Shiroishi joins Hanayama's cheer. Despite this, Wakutani Minami still loses and Shiroishi is seen tearing up.

As a wing spiker, his power, jumping, and stamina skills are above average. His other skills, however, are just about right.
He is the only player of Wakunan who can jump serve aside from Takeru.
