Atsumu and Osamu hear something strange in their bedroom during the night and enlist the help of their team to find out what's going on.
Plot[]
In the middle of the night, Atsumu and Osamu are disturbed from their sleep by a strange noise. Since they are the only two in the room, they naturally assume the other is the one is responsible for making the noise and will have a hard time waking up in the morning.
However, it's revealed the next morning as the brothers fight that they've come to an agreement that they think a youkai has been sneaking into their room. Naturally, their teammates don't believe their story or the twins telling how they heard a living and breathing creature moving around. Ōmimi wonders if it was a possible thief they heard but Akagi assures the middle blocker that a thief would not find anything of value in the twin's room.
After Atsumu is dismissed of having a photo of the youkai's footprint, Kita questions if there was a youkai around due to the filthy condition of the twin's room is surely in. The brothers quickly deny their room is dirty, but this only causes others to side with Kita or think that someone else may have been in their room, leading the twins to suggest a character based off of Aran who is a vampire and possesses ninja abilities. Atsumu and Osamu eventually agree to capture the youkai the next time they see it. That night, the two hear what they believe is the youkai, but their fatigue keeps them from getting up to catch it.
The next morning at school, Osamu and Atsumu are angrily beating each other up for not catching the youkai. This causes the others to start believing the twins and question if anything was missing from their room. The two are unable to say if anything was taken since their room was in a state of disaster when they woke up. Kita continues to suggest that the two just need to clean their room, but Atsumu declares that the team needs to sleepover to help them capture the creature. Even though the others are unsure of the idea, Kita and Ginjima realize that it may be the better option in order to prevent further disruptions at practice.
That night, the team is cramped together in the twin's room when Kita is pointed out to be missing. The captain's absence is explained to be due to Kita waiting until his grandmother falls asleep before heading over. With it getting late, everyone decides to head to bed. Soon enough, the twins become aware of the creature in their room but are left speechless when they see the youkai looks just like Kita.
The being introduces himself as the cleaning youkai who has come to the Miya's room to prevent the Darkness Knight from coming into existence. As the team is picturing the Darkness Knight looking like Aran, the youkai calls their attention to a portal opening up. While he is unsure of who made the room dirty, the youkai vows to make it clean.
After several hours and the team pitching in, the room is clean, and the creation of the Darkness Knight is seemingly prevented. After thanking one another, the youkai takes his leave after giving a warning not to let the room get dirty again as he will be watching. When the youkai leaves, Kita suddenly enters the room. The Miya's right away inform the captain that he was right about the dirt having been the problem. In classic Kita fashion, the captain finds a spot on the wall they missed and scolds them for not cleaning properly.
A short time later, the twins reveal they heard a noise in their room again and present the Darkness Knight.
